Following on from our successful “Bjelke Blues” event. Hear from the writers and publishers of  two exciting new books –  Brisbane Noir authors Robert “Bomber” Perrier’s  Where Angel Fears To Tread & the team behind The Cane Toad Times, Eccentric Voices.

Harpo publishing was created in 2019 by Robert Whyte and Anne Jones to focus on books about Brisbane, especially Brisbane Noir

Where Angel Fears to Tread is the story of Frank Angel a hit man for a syndicate of Brisbane High Flyers.

The Cane Toad Times, Eccentric Voice is a collection of Essays telling the stories of Brisbane people who stood up to rampant corruption to create a new public culture.
